Now for something a little different…
Gp4 service has been resumed with this round arch STR which plays on a classic scheme but with a twist. This owner of this STR wanted something a little bit different to a conventional red Stratos. We were maybe a little sceptical at first but once the stripes were applied were hooked and the car took on an even more mean and purposeful stance with the addition of the black wheels and optional chin spoiler.
Power & drive is provided by a fully rebuilt and balanced 3.2 Busso V6 from an Alfa GT with corresponding 6 speed gearbox, engine management is provided by the SCS Delta 800 ECU & the car exhausts through the 6 into 1 version of our in house tubular headers which in turn vents through a track day friendly twin silencer system. Suspension is as always from our bespoke wishbones with billet alloy uprights and in this case the car 4 pot calipers with uprated discs and bells front and rear, damping is provided by Nitron Suspension and the car sits on Toyo Tires R1R tyres. The body is finished in polished gelcoat in RAL3002 Carmine red and has had the vinyl striping applied by AR Signs Ltd
