  • A unique opportunity to jump the queue and get your hands on a stunning Alfa powered LB STR. This car was originally commissioned as a factory build to replicate an original Strato's which the owner had viewed in Monaco. Power in this car comes from a 3.0 24v Alfa Romeo V6 which has had a ground up rebuild incorporating dynamic balancing so that it is built beyond the standard of the original Busso engine. The car dynoed at 260Bhp with the help of its tuneable SCS Delta ECU and our own fully tubular Gp4 replica exhaust system. This power is then transmitted to the road via the corresponding 6speed gearbox from an Alfa 166 which has again been stripped, checked, cleaned and upgraded with the addition of a Quaife ATB differential, lightened flywheel & Alfa GTA clutch set, all of which are well proven in our cars. The drive shafts are made specifically for the car & are made from motorsport grade material to support the traction & performance.
  • A unique opportunity to jump the queue and get your hands on a very well specced LB STR. Originally a customer order that started life as an amateur build but then came back to us for engine commissioning and IVA prep. During this process the engine was removed and every element was  checked over & the build was then completed by ourselves to factory standard. The car has covered approx 7400miles since it was first registered in March 2022. The car passed its first MOT with flying colours this week. This really is a well specced car and closely matches the components and ethic that we would spec for our own personal version of the STR. The performance as you would imagine is exemplary. Covered 1,000 dry miles from new Correctly registered as a ListerBell STR. Currently on an age related 1976 ‘R’ registration, current kit car rules would allow any UK registration plate up to 2002 ‘52’. Group 4 round arch bodywork with roof scoop. Painted in Chardonnet blue with white louvres and yellow wheels. Engine & Gearbox from a 2002 Alfa Romeo 166 3.0 V6 which had covered 65,000 miles. With the exception of engine and gearbox the car is built with all new parts supplied by ListerBell between 2015 and 2016 ListerBell builds the chassis to be interchangeable between RHD and LHD. Conversion to LHD would require the addition of alternative parts purchased from ListerBell. Dozens of photographs from the build + a build diary is available to view on the Stratos Enthusiasts Club forum. The car drives superbly and has never seen a wet road. The painted body looks fantastic with a colour scheme inspired by that of Team Chardonnet driven by Frenchman Bernard Darniche in world rally championships of the late 1970s The car has been featured in Complete Kit Car magazine.
